D. SENTHIL NATHAN
B.Tech, Ex-IRS
Consultant and Founding Partner
D. Senthil Nathan is a former officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) with over 23 years of distinguished service in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Government of India. During his tenure with the Central Board of Customs and Excise, he held multiple key positions across assessment, audit, investigation, legal, and policy divisions, gaining extensive expertise in indirect taxation and international trade.
He has led significant investigations while serving in the Special Intelligence and Investigation Branch (SIIB) and the Central Intelligence Unit (CIU), earning numerous commendations for exemplary performance. As the Central Public Information Officer at JNCH, Nava Sheva, he managed critical litigations before appellate and judicial bodies, including the High Courts and the Supreme Court.
He also contributed to policy development during the formulation phase of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and has delivered lectures at NACEN for officers of the IRS, ED, and DGFT. He also represented the Government as Counsel before the Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Mumbai, in matters concerning Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, and DGFT/EXIM policy, gaining deep litigation and regulatory insight.
S. VIBU NANDHAN

Founder/Managing Partner
Vibu Nandhan is a practicing advocate and appears regularly before the High Courts, Supreme Court, and various Tribunals across India. His areas of specialization include indirect taxation, customs, income tax, FEMA, enforcement, and economic offences.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur, a Masters in Business Law (MBL) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma (APGD) in Criminal Law and Forensic Sciences from NALSAR University, Hyderabad. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London (ACIArb).
Vibu has represented several national and multinational corporations before judicial and quasi-judicial forums across India and advised international clients on a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and trade law matters. His early professional experience includes assisting the office of the Additional Advocate General of Tamil Nadu and the Senior Government Counsel for Customs, Income Tax, and Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai on high-profile cases of national relevance. He continues to advise and represent clients across India and internationally, combining strategic insight with practical legal expertise.
PALLAVI SINGHAL
Partner, Corporate
Pallavi Singhal is a graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur and heads our Corporate Divison, where she works across commercial and tax litigation, arbitration, media law, and corporate advisory matters. Before joining N&N, she trained in the capital markets practices at Luthra & Luthra and Saraf & Partners in Mumbai and Delhi, where she advised prominent listed entities such as Indiabulls, Adani Enterprises, Wockhardt Pharama etc. on securities laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Alongside her advisory work, Pallavi maintains a growing counsel practice, representing clients before the Delhi High Court and Bombay High Court in tax and commercial arbitration matters. At N&N, her practice sits at the intersection of disputes and corporate work, allowing her to bring a balanced, commercially grounded approach to both advisory and contentious mandates.
Pallavi has also worked with policy institutions including the Indian Council of Arbitration and the Delhi Commission for Women, reflecting her longstanding interest in institutional and public-interest systems. She currently leads the firm’s pro bono initiatives, reinforcing her commitment to accessible and responsible lawyering.
RAHUL KUMAR
Associate Partner, Dispute Resolution
Rahul is an Advocate and a graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur, with a robust practice in domestic and cross-border dispute resolution. He has represented clients in complex commercial conflicts, including arbitrations conducted under the ICC and UNCITRAL Rules, and regularly appears before courts and arbitral tribunals across India for clients in sectors such as banking & finance, construction, energy, infrastructure, technology, and telecommunications.
Alongside dispute resolution, Rahul advises and represents businesses and individuals in commercial, civil, criminal, insolvency, and NCLT proceedings. His work frequently involves supporting real estate funds, multinational corporations, lenders, and developers in managing legal risk and achieving strategic outcomes in both transactions and litigation.
Rahul has a strong command over Intellectual Property Rights, particularly trademark law. He has handled multiple trademark filings and registration mandates, and has led enforcement-focused litigation, including trademark infringement and passing-off suits—helping brand owners protect their intellectual assets and market identity.
His advisory practice also spans real estate transactions, project investments, structured finance, security creation, and commercial leasing. He routinely conducts detailed legal due diligence and leads negotiations and drafting of key commercial agreements, including contracts related to sale, mortgage, loans, licensing, construction, agency, and franchising. Known for combining legal precision with business-aligned counsel, Rahul delivers practical, clear, and outcome-driven support to both Indian and international clients.
SURAJ SONOWAL
Associate Partner, Maritime and Shipping
Suraj holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur, with a specialization in International Trade Law and heads the firm’s Shipping and Admiralty division. He brings extensive experience in maritime law, having previously worked with one of India’s premier firms specializing in this domain. With over three years of focused practice, he has developed expertise across all facets of shipping, admiralty, and international trade, including contentious, non-contentious, compliance, and regulatory matters.
He has worked closely with a wide spectrum of industry participants, including IG P&I Clubs, shipowners, charterers, seafarers, agents, managers, insurers, surveyors, and brokers. Suraj regularly appears before various High Courts, the Supreme Court, and arbitral tribunals, representing clients in high-value shipping disputes and maritime arbitrations. His deep understanding of the shipping industry enables him to provide practical, informed, and commercially aligned legal solutions.
ABILASH VISWANATHAN
Senior Associate, Dispute Resolution
Abilash holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur, with a specialization in Business Law. He began his career at Khaitan & Co. in the Dispute Resolution team, where he gained experience in commercial arbitration, suits, writs, and allied commercial litigation before the Courts of Chennai. During this time Abilash has successfully represented several prominent companies such as Chemfab Alkalis, Simplex Infrastructures, INOX Air Products and Gradiant India, in several sensitive litigations. His Real Estate experience during this time includes advising TVS Emerald Limited in their successful acquisition of a land parcel in one of Chennai’s emerging micro-markets.
He has contributed to several high-profile litigations before the Madras High Court and other tribunals, advised on land laws in Tamil Nadu and conducted extensive due diligence for sensitive real estate transactions. Abilash’s diverse experience in both dispute resolution and transactional matters enables him to provide holistic, commercially relevant legal solutions for clients.
